A perfect, lush lawn is the common dream of garden owners, but many don’t achieve the vibrant green lawn they desire, not even after years of hard work. To succeed in this project, you need to take consistent care of your garden, which includes regular mowing. And experience shows that the larger the garden, the harder it is to manage. That’s where Robotfűnyíró Centrum comes to your rescue, which, in addition to being the country’s largest Husqvarna Automower robotic lawnmower dealer, is also the exclusive domestic distributor for the Danish brand Auto-Mow, offering premium quality yet extremely attractive value for money accessories for robotic lawnmowers - in fact, they cover the entire customer lifecycle, as far as robotic lawn mowers are concerned. In the spirit of full service, you can trust them from the get-go: from the very first idea, they help you to assess your garden, choose the right machine, install it, and later store it for the winter and repair it if necessary. In the following article, we will not only list the new products you can try out at GardenExpo, but also attempt to answer some frequently asked questions about robotic lawnmowers.
The main benefit of a robotic lawnmower is that it gives you unprecedented freedom, as you no longer have to keep a watchful eye on your growing lawn and panic to fill your calendar with hours of mowing time: you can spend your days freely, while enjoying the sight of a thick, freshly mown lawn. With the clippings you regularly mow, your lawn is constantly fertilized by the robotic lawnmower, so it is always healthy and you can also say goodbye to costly and cumbersome minutes of bagging and hauling.
Most machines on the market follow a predefined algorithm for mowing, similar to the way a person pushes a traditional mower: starting at the edge and then moving in parallel strips. However, this way you will sooner or later see the tire marks in the grass, as it will always repeat the same path. The Husqvarna and Gardena machines, on the other hand, thanks to a patented solution, move in a completely irregular pattern, with random changes of direction. This guarantees that you will never have a streaky result, but a uniformly beautiful, perfectly mown lawn every time.
Basically, the lawn is mowed along an invisible fence. In practice, this means a low voltage cable installed around the edges of the garden, in a circle below or on the surface of the ground. The garden and its distinctive areas, such as pools, barbecues, flowerbeds, etc., are thus surrounded by a wire within which the robot travels. In addition to the so-called boundary wire, one or more guide wires run through the garden, helping the machine to move towards the farther parts of the garden or back home to the charging station.
To install, you will first need an installation kit, which includes the necessary wiring, pins and connectors to connect the cables to each other and to the charging station. These can be installed by anyone following the instructions provided, but it is best to leave the installation in the hands of experts. In this case, a professional cable-laying machine is used to lay the cables 3-5 cm below the surface, depending on the hardness of the ground, cutting 1-1 discreet, targeted lines instead of digging up the whole garden. If you do take the reins yourself, the task involves not only laying the wire and the conductor(s), but also updating the robotic lawnmower software to the latest version and then setting up the machine completely.
You can see Husqvarna’s various robotic lawnmowers in action at Robotfűnyíró Centrum’s stand, set up as a demonstration garden, so you can get a closer look at how safely and quietly these robots work. You will find several products, each with different benefits and working optimally in different types of gardens. At the stand, experts will help you find the perfect model for you and show you a range of new or never-before-seen innovations, such as the Husqvarna Automower 435X, Auto-Mow My Robot Home Garage, Husqvarna Automower 305, Husqvarna Automower 310 and 315 MarkII, Husqvarna Automower 405X and 415X, details of which can be found in the links. Some of those are so advanced that they can easily maneuver on slopes of 40 or even 70 degrees, or even mow an area of 3,500 square meters in extreme conditions.
